Fateless Video Recap: WEAPONS & IMPRINTS UPDATED!

Simon from is back with a chunky update on weapons, imprints, and a much more polished profile & settings experience as Godforge heads toward feature lock.

Weapons & Imprints: More Impact, Less Clutter

Weapons were already a standout feature in the alpha, but they’ve now had a serious upgrade:

  • Epic & Legendary Only
Early Access will focus purely on Epic and Legendary weapons so that every drop feels meaningful and build-defining.
  • Streamlined Resources
Instead of a dozen different upgrade materials, there’s now one main resource used to enhance weapons.
    • Sell a weapon? You’ll get some of that resource back, letting you recycle progress instead of feeling punished.
  • Stronger Stats & Refinement
Base stats have been tuned to make raw stat rolls feel more valuable. Refining a weapon with duplicate copies pushes its unique effects even further.
    Examples shown in the video:
    • Bone Scythe  – 30% increased damage to enemies below 15% HP for clutch boss finishing.
    • Diseased Talons  – 25% chance to extend debuff duration when placing a debuff.
  • Imprints as Premium Power
Imprints sit in their own library screen, with ghostly hero previews and the ability to socket effects like Achilles into weapons such as Mjolnir.
    • Imprints are being positioned as premium rewards from events, shops, and future systems like Schematics and Transmutation (coming post-MVP).

New Profile & Settings: Make Godforge Feel Like Yours

The profile screen has been rebuilt to better show who you are as a player:

  • Pick your favourite five heroes to showcase
  • Choose portraits, frames, labels, and unlockable banners & backgrounds
  • See your account power and tailor your profile’s look and feel

On the settings side, the game will now:

  • Auto-detect graphics settings based on your device
  • Let you tweak FPS, rename your account, or even delete it
  • Fully support multiple languages across the entire game

As Simon puts it, the focus now is on polishing systems, levelling up features, and making every screen feel closer to the final vision players will get in Early Access.
