Fateless Video Recap: PANTHEON BOSS & MEET THE OMEYOCAN FACTION!
In this week’s Fateless update, Simon takes us through two massive highlights from the current Godforge build: the arrival of Chronos, the Pantheon Boss, and a deep look at the Omeyocan faction—a vibrant realm filled with gods, warriors, and mythic beasts.
The Pantheon Boss – Chronos
Chronos marks a major milestone for the team as the first playable Pantheon boss makes his debut. Towering and cinematic, Chronos embodies the “tabletop boss” design philosophy—imposing, dramatic, and meant to feel like an epic encounter. Each day, players will face a different elemental affinity, earning daily personal rewards based on performance and weekly chests tied to Pantheon group activity. The system encourages teamwork without punishing newer or lower-level members, allowing friends to play together while still contributing meaningfully. With a mix of score-based milestones, daily bonuses, and long-term Pantheon progression, Chronos sets the tone for the cooperative endgame Godforge is building toward.
The Omeyocan Faction
The second showcase dives into the Omeyocan, one of the most striking factions in the game, inspired by Mayan, Incan and Aztec mythology and its pantheon of gods. These heroes stand out for their rich colors, ornate weapons, and intricate symbolism. Highlights include:
- Xipe Totec – the Flayed God, rendered with haunting, skinless detail.
- Xtabay – a demonic figure shrouded in dark energy.
- Hunahpu – a fierce warrior wielding a ceremonial staff.
- Quetzalcoatl, Tlaloc, Kinich Ahau, and Camazotz – legendary deities brought vividly to life, complete with elemental powers and elaborate armor.
With the Omeyocan faction fully integrated and Chronos leading the Pantheon challenges, Fateless has entered its content lock phase—where polish, optimization, and final animation passes take center stage.
