Fateless Video Recap: FEEDBACK IN ACTION: Shaping the Future of Godforge
With Simon on vacation, Suzi stepped in on this week’s Fateless update to share community feedback from the Godforge Alpha—and to provide developer responses to some of the most common requests.
The community’s passion and positivity stood out, with players praising:
- Boss introductions – Epic entrances like the flying dragon got big thumbs up.
- Hero animations – Heimdall, Ra, and YDG were called out as fan favorites.
- Ultimates & balance – Players love the strategic depth and that success isn’t locked behind legendary-only teams.
But alongside the praise came consistent feedback, and the devs responded directly:
- Subtitles in cinematics – Planned for the future to support players who play muted.
- Windowed mode – Alt+Enter works now, but a proper implementation is coming post-alpha.
- Tutorials – Extended guidance will arrive post-alpha, but tutorials will remain skippable or minimal.
- Wave indicator – Confirmed for Alpha Wave 3.
- Battle transitions – Current black screens will be smoothed out in future performance optimizations.
- UI inconsistencies – Improvements (escape, pause, X button behavior) are targeted for beta.
- Gear management – Filters, mass selling, and better navigation are already in the main dev build and will roll into beta.
- Mobile optimization – Overheating and power usage will be addressed during beta.
Despite some rough edges, the community feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. With Alpha Wave 3 around the corner (and big rewards on the line), it’s clear player input is helping shape Godforge into something special. 👉 Stay tuned for Simon’s next update with full Wave 3 reward details.
