TODAY the Alpha Wave 1 is going live, and we’re pumped to show you what’s new. In yesterday’s video, Simon broke down what’s in store for the first round of testers.
Since the Friends & Family wave, we’ve made big strides in polish and player guidance. From the Affinity Wheel to stat popups and smoother hero upgrades, we’ve implemented tons of quality-of-life changes based on your feedback. Feeding heroes now mirrors the “chicken” system — yes, you can feed a legendary if you dare! Awakening now allows you to use duplicates or universal imprints. Plus, imprints can be added to weapons to unlock new passives, with tools for extraction and refinement already live.
Inside the Caverns of Chaos, reward previews now show what you can earn by stage, while the battle prep screen offers long-press details to help meet team requirements. There’s more visual feedback, better gear equip flow, and three dynamic camera views. Some features didn’t make it — like advanced filtering, status effect displays, smarter AI, and in-depth tutorials — but rest assured, they’re coming.

Tomorrow, Discord will open its Alpha Testing Zone. Log bugs, share gameplay, and join over 100 content creators exploring the game. Known bugs will be posted to avoid duplicates, and we encourage all feedback.
