Fateless Video Recap: ALPHA 3 PLAYER REWARDS & CHANGES!
In our latest YouTube video, Simon went over all things you need to know about the prizes for the Alpha Cavern Challenge and the Patch Notes for the start of the new wave.
During Wave 3, players will face the ultimate test: battling through the caverns and dealing as much damage as possible against Fafnir, the fearsome endgame boss. Performance will be tracked and ranked, with rewards going to top-performing players across multiple categories.
The developers emphasized that success isn’t limited to players with perfect legendary rosters. Smart team-building, creative use of gear, and tactical play will all play a role in determining who rises to the top. This aligns with the core philosophy of Godforge—making strategy and adaptability just as important as hero rarity.

- 🏆 Trips to Las Vegas – Top players can earn an all-expenses-paid trip.
- 🗿 Immortalized in a Diorama – Winners will have their team or hero forever displayed.

Patch Notes v0.3.28652
The Final Alpha Wave Awaits
Over the past few weeks, Scions have faced many challenges in the Caverns of Chaos and now descend one last time. Our final wave of Alpha is here and we have a number of updates and bugfixes in preparation for the challenge ahead. The feedback provided by the community has been essential in helping craft the best possible experience and ensuring a fair challenge awaits all players.
Bleeds, Blaze and More
Bleeds have been in the alpha since Scions first entered the caverns but due to their unique stacking nature have not always presented correctly. This update introduces changes to both the visual experience and to its core functionality. Now bleed will correctly show the number of active bleeds on the enemy and we have bug fixed the core issue allowing more than 10 bleeds to be placed. In addition, heroes such as Achilles can now remove the bleeds to unlock the powerful damage upgrades.
In addition, all bosses held a passive that reduced incoming damage from debuffs such as Bleed, Blaze and Acid. These effects were expected to deal 25% of their original damage when in reality they were dealing 100%. In this upcoming version, this passive will now be active so make sure to check other strategies to defeat the mighty Fafnir.
Generators, Weapons and Divinity Balance
One of the key discoveries in Alpha Wave 2 by Scions was the ability to generate significant amounts of Divinity leading to unintended gameplay experiences. In this update we have taken steps to rebalance a number of Divinity Ultimate Generators. Previously these would in some cases generate from actions by heroes outside of their turn such as if an Ally received a buff. Now, Generators will be focussed on the hero requiring them to perform the actions to earn the Divinity.
Similarly a number of weapons could be stacked to create Team Wide bonuses leading to significant imbalance. Weapons have received a similar treatment with many bonuses being adjusted to focus on actions by the hero wielding the weapon. We have also taken the steps to update several weak weapons to provide more options to players.
The list is extensive so make sure to check out the weapons and heroes when you start your descent.
