Fateless Video Recap: A BETA SURPRISE FOR YOU!!
Each week, we share a direct update from the team behind Godforge, so you can see what we’re building, what’s changing, and why we’re making the calls we are. This week, we’re looking at how beta access will work, what players should expect when logging in, and what kind of feedback we need during the first beta phase.
We’re now two weeks away from beta, with around 100,000 players signed up to help test Godforge. If you played Godforge Quests, you’ll be able to use the same account login during beta. That matters because your mini-game rewards, including your selected hero, weapon, and imprint, will be added to your beta account through in-game mail.
The beta will be playable on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. Performance settings will be available, especially for mobile players who may need to lower quality settings depending on their device. We’re still optimizing, and device feedback will be an important part of this test.
Beta 1 is focused on game feel, pacing, and core progression. We want to know how combat feels, whether the campaign pacing works, how weapons and imprints land with players, and whether systems like summoning, the Bazaar, the Ruby Shop, and daily rewards feel engaging. Players will be able to move through Story Campaign, Adventure Mode, Heroic Mode, Ascension dungeons, weapon content, and armor dungeons.
We’re also collecting feedback through surveys and analytics. That helps us understand where players are progressing, where they stop, what feels too hard, and what keeps people coming back. This first beta is about learning what works before we expand into later testing with systems like Arena, Tower, and Pantheons.
Internally, we’re now entering Defcon 3, which means we’re only fixing critical or release-blocking issues. Smaller bugs will remain in the beta, but stability is now the priority. We’re on track for May 19, and we’re ready to get players into the game.
